Consultants
Student consultants make up the backbone of MCG
After completing our internal education program, all of our members start out as consultants, working with real clients on real cases. As consultants, students work on case teams where they're assigned to work on specific tasks in order to complete their client's larger goal. Through hands-on learning, peer guidance, and mentor advice, student consultants develop important research, analysis, and presentation skills necessary to provide clients with valuable recommendations and deliverables. Being a consulting group, our student consultants are the backbone of our entire organization. All members are expected to consult on cases up until their senior year spring. As our seniors prepare for life beyond MCG and MIT, they often take on more advisory and mentor roles, ensuring that new classes of MCG students are ready to continue our legacy of high quality work.

Alumni
Our members are members for life
Although no longer active members of MCG, our alumni provide a valuable network of people to reach out to. Our members reach out to alumni to learn more about recruiting, life after MIT, and for general advice. By supporting each other both socially and professionally, MCG ensures that our alumni are able to go on to great places and lead impactful careers.
Our graduates have excelled across industries at consulting firms like McKinsey & Co., Bain & Co., and The Boston Consulting Group, as well as investment banks like Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley. MIT Consulting alumni have also taken top positions in industry and technology, creating a diverse and valuable network of alumni.
Learn more about our alumni on our Alumni page.
If you're an MCG alum, we'd love to hear from you! Reach out to our Alumni Director David Akinyoyenu to learn more about staying involved!
